For some time I have this problem, when it is in neutral and the engine is cold, I hear a metal knocking sound like it is coming under my gear shift selector. If I raise RPM's for couple hundred revs, it stops...Also when it is knocking, I can feel the knocks on gear shift when I put my hand on it. I checked the cables, greased up the ball of gear shift and it is still knocking... This problem is on Fabia 1.4 MPI..

Hi, I bought V-maxx gewinde about a year and half ago, it says it is lowering by 65mm, and by eye, it is...but on 17 inch wheels it is still to damn high. How to go lower, I see some of you had their gewinde moded, and I would like to know how do you do that ? What have you changed on your gewinde. Is it possible to go low so the rim is about 1 cm from edge of sidewings ? Also I saw on this forum someone has a silver Fabia with red painted 17 inch rims, and it is really low, and in description h…

If you think to change it my annswer is - CHANGE IT !!! I had drums on my 1.4 8v MPI, and I took the rear disc brakes from Golf MKIV and they work perfectly, plug&play system Do not have any problems hard braking in the corners, the rear stays on the road, does not slips on lock rear wheels at all... But again, from price stand of view it is much easier for me, because I am in Bosnia, and no one noticed in TUV check up...so it costed me only about 140 euros...including mechanics fee
